Free contact form plan, with a paid step when you need it
The free contact form plan follows a 7-day Pro trial on every new account. You then get one inbox, 100 stored submissions each UTC month, 30 days of history, honeypot and rate limiting, and email delivery once a provider is configured. No card is required to paste the snippet and receive a message.
Start on the free cap
Create an account and the first inbox is issued for you. 100 messages a month is enough for a personal site, a documentation page, or a launch that is still quiet. The first seven days use Pro limits, and no card is taken.
Watch the counter
The dashboard shows how many submissions this month have been reserved. The counter does not reset in your local timezone. It resets at the start of the next UTC month. A quiet month still rolls over on that boundary, and the next post starts again at zero.
Move to Pro when the cap binds
Pro is a subscription in the server price list: 5,000 submissions a month and 20 inboxes. You subscribe on this page, and the charge is the price listed for Pro.
What the free contact form includes
A new account can create one inbox. An inbox you already opened stays, and you cannot add another until you are within the free limit. Each inbox has its own access key, its own notification email, and its own thank-you URL. Submissions share one monthly counter. The free contact form path stores the text fields, emails the ones inside the cap, and lists them in the dashboard for 30 days. It does not store file uploads. It does not sell the addresses to anyone. It does not add a badge to your page, because the HTML is yours. Notification emails and the default thank-you page carry a small Formpost line on the free plan. Pro removes that line.

What happens at the limit
The 101st reservation in a month is stored and locked. The visitor still sees success. You do not receive the fields by email, which is intentional: a full copy would spend a message on text you cannot open yet. The dashboard hides the fields until you upgrade, and at most one note a day says how many are waiting. Upgrade, or wait for the next UTC month. Rows older than 30 days are hidden the same way and are not deleted. If you are testing, the public demo key on the homepage has its own small pool and does not spend your account's free contact form quota. Do not build a production page on the demo key. It is logged, not delivered to a private inbox, and the key is published.

What Pro changes
An active, trialing, or pending-cancel subscription for the Pro monthly or Pro yearly product raises the account to 5,000 submissions a month, 20 inboxes, unlimited history, and no Formpost branding. The price in the catalog is the price that is charged. The button on this page sends only the product id. A cheaper number in the request body is ignored. Credits are not the meter for this product. The submission counter is. A new account also has those Pro limits for seven days with no card, then falls back on its own. Cancelling the paid subscription in the billing portal returns the account to the free contact form limits at the end of the paid period, following the subscription status the payment module already stores. Past 5,000, Pro still refuses the post.

How this compares with free tiers elsewhere
POWr and similar widget kits often gate the embed or the number of views. Jotform's free tier limits the number of forms and the monthly submissions inside their builder, and the form lives in their editor. Mailchimp's free audience is a marketing plan with contact limits, not a mailbox for support notes. A free contact form here is closer to a small mail endpoint: strict monthly count, no builder, no audience. If you later need logic, payments, or a list, keep this for the simple pages and use a builder for the complex one. Mixing them is fine. They do not share a counter.

A free contact form still needs a person at the inbox
Someone has to read the mail. The plan does not include a shared inbox with your teammates beyond forwarding to the notification address you set. Put a role address there if several people should see the same message. Until delivery is connected, each message stays in the dashboard with the status logged. That is fine for a trial and the wrong thing to leave on a public site. Send one post and confirm the status changes to sent. Until that check passes, treat the free contact form as a trial. A free contact form on a public site that is still only logging will not reach your mailbox.

What you still configure yourself
The action URL is https://getformpost.com/api/submit. The plan does not redesign your inputs, and it does not add a shared team inbox beyond the notification address. Connect delivery before you send traffic, then submit one message from a private window and confirm it arrives. The free contact form is ready for visitors after that one message shows up in the mailbox you named.

Frequently asked questions
A free contact form is often a builder with a watermark on the embed, or a document that tells you to call PHP mail() on a host you may not have. The plan below is a cap on a backend, not a locked editor.
